SEFCO International working style
From project identification to the final debrief, a structured process coordinated with the project owner.
Studies
Project appropriation approach
Through its project identification unit, SEFCO International submits bids to win assignments that match its areas of expertise.
Preparation of bid submissions
Once shortlisted for an assignment, SEFCO International prepares, through its Technical Unit, the technical and financial bid with regard to the funding body and the Project Owner or its delegate.
Execution of assignments
Upon award of an assignment, SEFCO International draws up, through its Operational Unit, the execution plan in coordination with the Project Owner or its delegate.
End-of-assignment debrief
On completion of a study or works-supervision assignment, a summary debrief is prepared and validated by the Project Owner or its delegate.
Works Supervision
Works-supervision assignments follow the same logic as study assignments in terms of their award by a project owner. The fundamental differences, however, are as follows:
Review of the baseline studies.
Validation or introduction of adjustments.
Supervision of the works of the contractor or consortium of contractors.
Technical and financial management of the project in coordination with the Project Owner.
Provisional and final acceptance of the project.
Training
Distribution of training modules
Digital, physical and direct phone outreach.
Contacting potential beneficiaries
Explaining the modules, venue and schedule.
Training organisation
Trainer and programme approved by the Office, venue setup and documentation, plus participation certificates and attestations.
Beneficiary retention
Liaison with companies' training departments, updates to refresher sessions and integration of core module developments.
